šŸ‡ Skin & Coat: The omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids in flaxseed help maintain a healthy, shiny coat. They can reduce dryness and flakiness of the skin, promoting a soft and healthy fur. Omega-3 fatty acids contribute to a shiny, healthy coat by nourishing hair follicles and improving overall hair quality. Vitamin E provides antioxidant protection and supporting the repair and regeneration of skin cells. B vitamins that help maintain healthy skin by supporting cellular function and promoting the metabolism of fats and proteins necessary for skin health. Regular intake of flaxseed can help reduce excessive shedding, keeping your rabbit’s fur in better condition.

Flaxseed is rich in antioxidants that help protect joint tissues from oxidative stress and damage caused by free radicals. This can prevent the progression of joint damage and support overall joint health. Flaxseed is high in alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), a type of omega-3 fatty acid that has potent anti-inflammatory effects. These fatty acids help reduce the production of inflammatory compounds in the body, which can alleviate joint pain and stiffness. The lignans in flaxseed also possess anti-inflammatory properties, further helping to reduce inflammation in the joints.
